Is WWE underutilizing Jey Uso, or is Rikishi upset with the company for other reasons? It seems someone’s father might need to keep his opinions to himself, especially since he’s no longer involved with WWE.Rikishi seems to overestimate the value of his children in the company. I agree that WWE has wasted many opportunities to push talent at the right moment, instead prioritizing storylines. Take LA Knight last year, for example. Another frustrating case is how long it took for Bray Wyatt to finally get the WWE title, something that should have happened right after WrestleMania 30.Rikishi believes Jey Uso might even consider leaving WWE for AEW, as he feels his son is being underutilized by the company. He said, “I’m at the point where I want to tell my son, ‘Go ahead and take a break. It’s clear the writers don’t know what to do with you, or they can’t come up with something that fits Jey Uso, Jey. “The kid is so talented, and WWE isn’t the only option.
He could likely head to AEW if he wants to carve his own path—maybe even make more than WWE is currently offering him. Hopefully, they’ll turn things around and do right by Jey. (Source: Rikishi | Off the Top Rope Podcast)
