After a heated six-woman tag match on “WWE Raw” against Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance, Damage CTRL barely had a chance to savor their victory before facing a ruthless ambush from a newly united force of Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville. Recent backstage interactions had hinted at an alliance forming among the trio, and now they made their intentions clear by targeting Damage CTRL, a faction known for its claim to dominance in the WWE women’s division.
The feud with Damage CTRL seems a natural fit for the new faction, given their intertwined histories. Baszler has a storied past with each member, including Asuka, who is currently sidelined. Stark and SKY previously held the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles, while Deville (alongside Mandy Rose) has clashed with Sane and Asuka in the past.

However, for this newly-formed alliance, their actions on this night were about more than just one group.
“We just sent a message to the entire locker room about who really controls this division,” Baszler declared in a backstage interview immediately after the attack. Stark echoed the sentiment, expressing frustration over past injustices at Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank, aimed at individuals “who couldn’t even lace our boots.”
Deville added her perspective, emphasizing her role in guiding Baszler and Stark toward their full potential as formidable competitors.
“We’re here,” Deville asserted boldly, “and no one can stop us.”
With these statements and their brutal debut, Baszler, Stark, and Deville have unmistakably announced their arrival and their intent to dominate the WWE women’s division.
