[Kankakee, IL] — Late last night, a vehicle accident occurred at the Meadowview Shopping Center, causing significant damage to one of the buildings and startling nearby businesses and residents.
According to witnesses, the vehicle veered off course and crashed into a section of the plaza near the Wingstop restaurant. Fortunately, a structural pillar prevented the car from hitting the restaurant directly, likely averting more serious damage.
