
“From my perspective, the village seems to be operating well,” she said. “I don’t have all the details on everything that’s happened, but I believe there are others who could handle the role effectively, too. Hanley, however, received approval in March 2024.While it’s still possible for the board to approve those contracts at an upcoming meeting, LaMore firmly believes those decisions fall under her responsibilities, according to village ordinance.“That’s absolutely within my role,” she said. “What I’m aiming for is transparency, fairness, and making decisions that are in Manteno’s best interest.”
